Vision Rehabilitation – Canada

  • CNIB (formerly known as “Canadian national Institute for the Blind”) is the primary source of support, information and most importantly, hope, for all Canadians who are blind, sight-impaired or simply interested in vision loss. They are recognized experts in vision health and have been making a profound difference in the lives of Canadians since 1918. At CNIB it is well understood that there are ways to enjoy a good quality of life for people who are blind or sight-impaired, and the important preventive steps that can be taken to maintain vision health.

  • Montreal Association for the Blind Offers timely, quality rehabilitation adjustment and social services to blind and visually impaired persons as well as support services to their families, serving chiefly English speaking persons who reside in the Montreal region.

  • National Coalition for Vision Health is a non-profit coalition of Canadian organizations and service providers of vision care industry, research, education, rehabilitation and consumers.
